Hey guys today I head out to test out the #Nikon Z30 as a stills camera, this is the first time I have ever used a camera with no EVF so was very curious to see how the experience is! join me as I head around Beamish open air museum testing out the Z30, I plan on following this video up with my conclusion on using it as a stills camera.

thank you for doing a photography-only video of the Nikon z30. i just purchased it for my trip to the Philippines. i wanted a smaller camera thats portable. can you do a future video using hi speed sync with the z 30? id love to see the results. you should have included the settings with your shots. did you use any presets or color grading in these shots?? they are great shots!

Barry, how does the Z30 screen hold up in bright sunny outdoors when it comes to composition? I know smartphone screens have improved tremendously when it comes to usability outdoors due to the high screen brightness nits. BTW, like this POV format.

You captured some great photos. I'm thinking of purchasing the z30 but was curious what metering setting you have this on? Did it choose the proper exposure most times or were you full manual?

Is this the 35 f/1.8 S or one of the old 35mm (DX/FX) for the F mount + FTZ adapter ?
