Qtcinderella said on the Fear & podcast that xQc did cancel his appearance ahead of time with reasoning, and not last minute like some seem to believe. And apparently he was the one to ask if he could present an award, so suggesting that Qt wants him there for publicity is a bit strange. Reserving a chair for him is just a meme at this point, cause of his habit of not showing up or canceling stuff. Lighten up people, it isn't that serious and even X isn't offended so there's no need to be offended on his behalf
