My dad said he was a roadie for Huey Lewis and the News back when they started. Had all the albums and his favorite song was "Walking On A Thin Line". I think he would be excited about the musical if he were still alive.

Klepper; you treated Huey with great respect, listened well, asked great questions, played with him. NICE JOB.

Fresh out of USAF basic training, 1983 I saw Huey & t News Shepard Airman’s club… boiling hot show. I was 3ft. away, handed Huey my beer -he slammed it and said “thanks man” then kept rockin’

Sports was my first album. Like, ever. That, and Twisted Sister's Stay Hungry... 'cause my Grandma thought I was at risk of becoming religious. I owe that old lady a bunch!

I always enjoyed his cameo in Back to the Future criticizing the volume in which his own song was being played.

I saw Huey when he joined Clover in the 70's I knew he would be famous, it just took 20 yrs for the rest of the world to see it.

Jordan, that you are quite nervous talking to the legend that is Huey Lewis makes me like you even more.😊

Glad to see Huey out and about. I never would have guessed he would do an interview considering his hearing loss and the affect it had on his life. A wonderful surprise. And nice interview.

One of my bucket list moments was seeing Huey Lewis & The News about 11 or 12 years ago, playing a small hotel venue in the gardens overlooking the river out back on a sunny summer afternoon. That was immense to be a part of. You just don't see bands with an entire horn section anymore.

In 2005/2006 I delivered groceries in NYC for whole foods and huey was one of my regulars. Super friendly. Great tipper.

I had four posters of Huey and the News on my wall as a middle schooler. I listened to the tapes all. the. time. My first big concert was to see them on the Fore! tour at the Worcester Centrum in Massachusetts. Flash forward about 17 years and imagine my surprise when I was eating a burrito in the West Village of NYC and Huey was sitting right behind me. I'm so glad I was introduced to some real rhythm and blues music in the 80's. Thanks, Huey Lewis and The News!

Me and my kids listen to Huey Lewis pretty much every day. I was born in 1980 and I grew up to his music. My dad loved his songs and we sang them together on road trips and drives around town. My dad died last year, but all Huey’s songs are like a little hug from my dad every time I hear them. Thanks to Huey for his music, for being awesome in Back to the Future, for being part of the soundtrack of my life. ❤

I started high school in 84. Never bought a HL&N album but the songs were great! And the videos. I guess they were so popular I heard them enough on the air or on MTV at the time.
When I heard that Huey had lost his hearing and saw a documentary clip about it, I couldn't believe it. Such a cruel thing to happen to such a cool and talented guy. Glad to see him doing so well.
