How important is early diagnosis and treatment of a brachial plexus injury? Studies have shown that the spinal cord is changed within hours of the injury. Recovery varies from patient to patient, but the later that a patient goes in for treatment, the less options exist. Before concluding that nothing can be done, hear from Dr. Scott Wolfe (Orthopedic Surgeon & Director) & Dr. Joseph Feinberg (Physiatrist & Co-Medical Director) on the medical and public awareness that is provided by the Center for Brachial Plexus and Nerve Injury at Hospital for Special Surgery.

HSS has such wonderful doctors and a great team approach. I just recently had a surgery with these doctors and couldn't be more appreciative of the care I received.

Too bad not all is always true. I gave them everything needed to tell me if they can help, but there was no help. No urgency to help.
