I work at Starbucks and because the oleato is oil based, it's not gonna mix well with the coffee because of the water content. I also think we switched from oatly to dream oatmilk. I don't know if that's everywhere though.

I'm a barista and I got to make the oleato drinks for the first time today! For the oat milk latte, the oil is steamed with the milk - it must have sat a bit to separate like that. It gets really well emulsified and is what makes the drink go down so smooth

Please make a Bobby-approved version. A lot of people are saying this combination is stupid because you can't combine coffee with olive oil due to the lack of emulsifier.

Good review especially canola oil Bobbie is right on target, it is not good for human consumption I will never use it. I can’t even put a tiny amount in my salads or cooking I get horribly ill.

Years ago back when I was drinking sodas. I used to goto star bucks and drink only their cappuccino vanilla. I wasn't crazed about all their other drinks you talked about. Also, there is this one coffee shop here in town which I think is way better than Starbucks. It's called Ellianos Coffee. They are a double sided drive through coffee shop. They have the best tasting coffee and more. And their breakfast items are fantastic. I would goto them more since they are near me now

The EVOO is not supposed to float on top. It should have been steamed into the milk. That is how Starbucks standard recipe says it should be made.

Hey Bobby! Love the vids! I just wanna let you know that we don’t squirt the oil in the cup because obviously the oil and coffee won’t mix right lol but put the oil in with the milk and steam it together, if you leave it sitting there for more than 5 minutes, the oil obviously will start to separate and make the oily film! Just a heads up, this is with all our Oleato drinks! So drink it right away lol. Hope this helps :)
