The 883 looks better imo. The buckshots and rims 👌🏻

Your comparison videos are really great - this video and the iron 1200 vs 48 really helped me. Thanks

The 883 Iron is just a cool looking bike. Power wise it's great for normal steet/highway one up riding. Plenty of torque for passing at highway speeds. Of course there is always that urge for more but realistically, from some that's ridden everything from 175cc to 1600cc, the amount of time that additional power is meaningful is minimal.

I think I'm gonna go for the 883 to start and maybe upgrade the motor much later.

I was considering buying a bike in the next couple months or so but if I wait a year and a half my budget increases a great deal. I think it is worth it for me to wait. Patience will be easy knowing that it will result in me owning a Harley Davidson.

both bikes are very similar to each other, differences are paint job, handlebars, seat and of course the hp .
883 cc = 58.86 hp
1200 cc = 80 hp
hp = torque [ low end power ]
about 21.14 hp difference. that is 317 cc's more .

i like them both actually, very kool looking .

Would the 1200 be a good starter bike I like them both but I think the 1200 just looks better.

Do they have the same size oil tank? Because the 1200 looks like it is smaller

If I send my cylinders out to be bored over is it all the same motor and bike essentially at that point?

Is the 1200 too much for a first bike? I'm 5'10" 170lbs athletic build, if that helps
