This is why I love Bernie, he's always laser focused on the real issues. Never distracted by whatever irrelevant nonsense captures the corporate media's attention that day

I will always be forever grateful to Bernie for his fight on behalf of the working class. Thank you Bernie.

In the 60s, my dad earned a salary good enough to pay for a house for 6 people. When my wife and I graduated from college with Bachelor's degrees, we received starting salaries good enough to pay for a typical suburban home to start a family. Now my kids, both with advanced degrees, have to share a cheap apartment to make ends meet, and a major medical procedure could wipe them out. America has a stronger economy on paper, but only the upper class has benefited. It's time to get wealth distributed more equitably.

I love this. I have always supported Bernie, and I went to see him once in Portland Oregon. Always inspired

I remember when I started following Bernie in the late 90s, when I was still in Europe. I thought back then that he was very much a social democrat with ideas that we had already in our system in Europe. Now, after 11 years living in the US, I realize how different his ideas are from the rest. I still think he would have won 2016 if the party would have let him.

Bernie is spot on! Fifty years ago, I made $300 a month and gold was at $58 an ounce. So I made "5 ounces of gold a month." Today, that amount of gold would cost like $14, 000 a month. I bought my first car for $150. I bought my first motorcycle for $300. I could buy a gallon of gas for 25 cents. I could buy lunch at McDonalds and get change back for my $1. Back then, the CEO earned maybe 25 times what I did. Today's CEO earns 351 times that of a worker.

Norway used to be even worse. In our capitalist system, you did not have a right to vote if you didn't have a certain amount of capital. But we were able to transition from that to a highly functioning socialdemocracy in just a few decades and without any revolutions or bloodshed. People now take it for granted, but it's actually quite extraordinary.

Thank you for being so clear and consistent Bernie Sanders. What surprises me, though, this is considered to be «communism» or worse. Those who believe that should visit North European countrues. Especially the political Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland) and Switzerland, the richest and most democratic countries in the world. Countries declared to be best places to live, where freedom is real because people actually have the means to stay free and follow their dreams. I am from Norway. We don’t call what Bernie advocates «communism». We call it welfare + fair distribution of wealth. The US needs to wake up.

Yes Bernie, you're always SO right.
I'm 52, and I can still remember when it only took 1 income to raise a family. It was right about 1981, (ya know, the beginning of the Reagan rein of terror) when my mom also had to get a job just for us to be able to make ends meet.
