I love the first Dior Poison that was released in 1985. I was working at Bloomingdale’s at the time. It’s all you could smell when you walked into the store. I don’t have any of the flankers. The OG Poison is probably the definition of polarizing. It’s plummy with a lot of tuberose and it projects. Not for the faint of heart.

Poison Girl is one of my top 5 favorite perfumes. Personally, it does not smell powdery. I mean not on me. I do get the orange blossom specially in the beginning. Then, as you said I get the almond, Tonka and vanilla. I would describe this as slightly sweat, fresh, comforting, warm scent. I love this one.

I blind bought 2 of these perfumes, Pure- which I do like the smell of, it feels very feminine and pretty... but it gave me a headache :( After that I actually found out that white florals can be headache inducing. Just fwi for others that might not know! I just blind bought hypnotic EDT and I really hope I love it as much as I think I will. Should be here soon! I'm excited, it sounds amazing!

I just recently started going through samples of poisons to decide which ones I want in my collection, I currently have pure poison and next Im getting is hypnotic edt. Girl unexpected is actually really nice as well!

White Musk is my absolute fave perfume since late 1980 's! As a Gen X All is teens would wear it and Dewberry, I still wear White Musk now, but i'm sure i tryed Dior Pure poison and loved it to! Love musky sents

I can't do Pure Poison, too much white florals, the scent is so heavy, not fresh. I get a headache everytime trying this and it smell just like a laundry detergent. You describe it very detailed and true, 1000 times better than other reviewer who said "oh, it's good, it's amazing", but I wish I could like the perfume like everyone, it just doesn't work for me. Later I tried Lancome Jasmin Marzipan and it is very very similar to Pure poison but more natural, high quality, I like it so much better than Pure Poison. I like Hypnotic Poison, I think it's a men killer, very sexy fragrance kinda slutty (in a good way) but I guess I can't use it in my country where the weather is always hot, Poison Girl is a sugary mess but I can see a lot of ppl enjoy that one cause it's sweet, flirty, versatile, but not alluring like Hypnotic Poison.
