What happens during a _normal_ execution of a search warrant when a locked door is encountered and the target of the warrant assures investigators that they can't find the key, but there's nothing in there?

*KICK*

_That's_ what happens. That's what happens _instantly._

The search warrant on Mar-a-Lago should have been executed with the same gusto that law enforcement devotes to a drug raid based on an anonymous tip. That is, the slightest resistance - or even hesitation - is immediately met with _overwhelming_ force.

The only thing needed to defeat Trump is to treat him the same as everyone else in America is treated.

Trump should have been in jail the _afternoon_ of Jan 20, 2021.

This is not only disgraceful and wreaking of corruption, this has put our national security at further risk.

This is very disturbing. I understand that the FBI agents were probably told to tread lightly, be polite and don't storm the place like a drug house. However, not to be thorough and search the obvious places like the "hidden" rooms/spaces? I'm really starting to wonder about the FBI...

Once again, it's shown that there is a two tiered justice system in America. The average citizen would have had their doors broken and all rooms searched. This I fully believe.

2 million for pardons, 2 billion for documents, ... too much of a grifter to pay his own bills.

This criminal has played the justice system and constitution to the absolute maximum without any consequences.

Are we forgetting that Trumps original defence was to claim that the FBI planted the documents in his house? Then he changed his story to admit that he did take the documents "but it's fine because they were declassified".

That change of story tells you everything you need to know about his guilt!!

A full search needs to be conducted on ALL his properties on the same day. He's playing a ridiculous game and it's glaringly obvious that he really is above justice.

If true, FBI heads need to roll!!! They should be prosecuted for aiding and abetting criminal

Any hesitancy by any FBI agent to initiate and/or carry out a valid search warrant, invites an investigation of the agents as to their bias in NOT ENFORCING the law.

*Obvious:* With the Secret Service having provided limited aid in Jan 6, it's obvious that there would also be MAGA in the FBI who also wish to help Trump avoid capture as a criminal and avoid whatever he told them to avoid, just as this report indicates.

clearly Secret Service would be very aware of this room, and crimes they witnessed. The Secret Service should be culpable for failing to report

Those agents should lose their jobs for not doing the job they're supposed to do! How hard is it to search every room behind every door?

Its so disheartening to see our FBI and Secret Service so corrupt. This man did so much damage in four years but then again our justice system is still letting him. God help us because we can't seem to help ourselves

Geeze, this guy is such a liability to our country. I have no idea why people could ever trust him with anything.

Why is it so difficult to identify who conducted the FBI search warrant on Mar-a-lago? Why speculate when you can question those actually involved? On all those cop shows, they just bust down locked doors. Who needs a key?
