It's an awesome show. One season is one day, and the season is split into 24 episodes, where each episode is one hour of that day.

The main character (Jack Bauer) finds himself breaking the law because the agency's methods of doing things aren't working and he needs to act on his own before a terrorist strikes. His methods are extreme, but they are necessary to get the job done.

There are also some mindblowing twists that I won't spoil. I definitely recommend this show.

I almost screamed like a little girl when I found out about this. Man, do I love this series, it defined almost of a decade in my life.

I would agree with you, but 3 years passed since the last season, will be 4 years when this is out, I think this is enough to renew the ideas and make it less repetitive.

It's not really old, and in fact this series influenced a lot on how action and espionage play nowadays, it was the one that started the trend, so it holds up very well. There are silly sub-plots in almost every season, but the series itself was groundbreaking, and the real time aspect, while limitating, makes it very addictive: it's not a "problem of the week" situation, is a continuous state of crisis with constant cliffhangers.

Jack Bauer is hands down one of the best TV action heroes. 24 is hands down one of the best shows of this century.

Yes, I didn't watch it when it was on either. I actually watched the whole series on Netflix a couple years ago. I'd definitely recommend it. The age of the earlier episodes wasn't really a turnoff, in fact it was kind of cool to see the technology progress through the years. Check it out.

I'm going to watch this because Kiefer has some VO work coming up in the new Metal Gear. Plus, I've always meant to get into 24.

I was disappointed when I heard touch was canceled but then I found out 24 was coming back I was excited

seasons 1-5 is amazing, seasons 6-8 are okay but it's not a good idea to milk it anymore.

id say 6 COULD of been close to season 5, as the opening 4 episodes were explosively good, all that stuff with jack and his brother/dad could of gone A LOT further but they decided to *SPOILER* kill off his brother early on, and the showdown with Fayed near the end was exceptionally good as it also showed how the Chinese had Audrey Raines .
