Lemon Garlic Spinach Recipe~ Noreen's Kitchen

Greetings! Here is an amazing, quick and delicious vegetable side dish that is quick to prepare and so flavorful you can pair this with just about anything you like. The leftovers can be tossed in with some scrambled eggs in the morning for a fantastic breakfast as well!

Fresh spinach is something that we always have in our house at any given time. We eat it on sandwiches, in wraps as a side dish, in soups or salads. This side dish is very quick and goes with lots of different main courses. You can also add a basket of sliced mushrooms in here to really put it over the top! A squeeze of lemon, the savoriness of the onion and garlic, all come together to make this spinach good for even the most special occasion!

Noreen, I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed cooking something similar to this all spring as the spinach has been growing.  It is unbelievable! What a difference the lemon makes...night and day!  I never eat sauteed spinach without lemon. Wonderful side dish for sure!! A++++

SO SIMPLE!!  I could eat that whole pan full with some brown rice, and maybe a splash of soy sauce as it goes SO wonderfully with the lemon/garlic!!  Thanx everso for a microwave fast recipe without the microwave!!  Keep up the good work!

I love spinach! I've discovered several kinds of spinach in the past couple years, Red Malabar spinach and Strawberry Spinach are two I really enjoy. I eat them raw, haven't cooked them, but might give it a try just to see how it tastes cooked. So what do you think about adding lemon basil or even lemon lime basil instead of the lemon?
