PONANT PORT 1 LIMNOS, GREECE

August 18, 2022 - I am not enthused over the (2) archeological excursions and don't book. Also not happy that it is siesta time in Myrina (main port) and almost everything is closed! Not a "Most beautiful Greek Island" and one that can be bypassed, my opinion only. Please don't forget to Share, Like and Subscribe! Thanks.

It looks like a pleasant place, if not at the level of Santorini. Then again, it is not so crowded and probably, therefore, easier to live in if you are a resident! (Did you upload your last video twice?)

Myrina town can be underwhelming during the early afternoon hours due to the heat. However, if you had the chance to visit areas of the island further inland, you would be amazed by the spectacular landscapes and scenery. Limnos is a unique island in the Aegean with beautiful beaches that are among the best in Greece. Really!

What did they say on board in preparation for your stay on Limnos? How did they set this island up?😊

I guess the cruise line must expect most people to take the Archeological excursions since most of the shops were closed while you were in port. At least you saved money by not buy any of that beautiful jewelry But I'm sure you'll find a fantastic piece of jewelry in another port !!
