Honestly, the reason I've re-uploaded this animatic is because I've favored it above all others. Through-out high school, through college, through my careers and into my life as a young adult. I've had a best friend named Eric, we were incredibly close. We went everywhere together, liked the same music, acted stupid together and have gotten into plenty of trouble. He was my best friend for years, and I'd even consider him a brother. I saw Eric the same way Evan en-pictured his friendship with Conner. It was the perfect friendship. As time began to pass, we've had some issues, we eventually had a falling out and we refused to speak to each other for a good year or so... The year later we decide to pick things up again, and start over as friends, plan the future together again as we've done in the past.

That encounter was the last time I've ever seen Eric. He has passed away two years ago this month, and I grieve every day knowing that my best friend and brother won't be able to join me in any of my silly shenanigans and adventures.

Life is fragile. Life is short and unpredictable, live each day like it's going to be your last, love your friends and family as they are there to love you back.

i think everyone’s forgetting that conner wasn’t actually like this and evan made it up in his head probably bc he’s describing a friendship he’s always wanted not imagining the friendship he’d have with conner because he doesn’t know conner and from what he actually knows from him he’s a horrible person 😭

Okay this is for the dweebs who haven’t seen the musical and are intensely confused
Aight aight strap in this is a rough ride

Even Hansen is a boy with severe anxiety and I believe depression though that’s not strictly true to the musical. He has to write notes to himself because his therapist told him to and they usually start with ‘dear even Hansen today is going to be a good day (etc etc)’. One day he writes one of these letters and in it he describes how it’s not going to be a good day and how he has all his hope set on Zoe (Connors sister) but she doesn’t know he’s even alive. When printing out this letter he runs into Connor who calls him a freak for liking his sister (earlier in the musical they did have a run in and Connor signed Evans cast). Connor later commits suicide. In Connors pocket is Evans note and so Connors parents believe Evan and Connor are friends. So they invite Evan over and even though even Denies being friends with Connor at first he notices how upset the family was so he makes up stories about him and Connor being friends to ease the family.
