Numerous workers from the Balkans go to work in Germany or other EU Member States via Slovenia. They are often low-paid, live in terrible conditions, and do not have proper documents. Fifty-year-old Siniša Marinković from Bosnia and Herzegovina has experienced the whole spectrum of exploitative labor practices. After a fall at a construction site in Brussels, he is now unable to work and is struggling to survive.
