In today's episode I'm talking about six "unexpected" fall fashion trends that have made a comeback. Some I thought would never reappear and others . . . well I'm SO pleased they're back. I also just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for everyone who sent me such lovely kind and caring messages on my recent community tab post. I feel so incredibly lucky that I have so many amazing women from all over the world who took the time to reach out and send love. It was exactly what I needed so thank you. We've been locked down again in Auckland for almost two months and the feeling of being cut off from friends and family was really starting to get to me. I haven't been able to get home to Sydney to see family for over four years now (thanks to Covid) and I'm usually ok but being locked down seemed to throw me into a bit of a tailspin. But all of your loving messages really helped to life me out of the doldrums so thank you thank you thank you.

I’d definitely be open to wearing 60s style prints and tights. To be honest, I’ve never stopped wearing tights, sheer or opaque. I’m old school and I get cold easily. I need the warmth when wearing a dress. 🤷‍♀️

I did the hip hugger/low rise in the 60s and 70s. I sure don’t have the figure for it now! 🤣

Fabulousness! My mom had a gorgeous Kelly green purse with a gold chain in the 60’s I always loved this color. I don’t like low rise but like pants that just sit on hips. I am short. I just bought a pair of pointy sock booties. I am getting sick of my chunky boots. I followed your pop of color video and bought some color pops. And hope they will stay in my closet. I do like tights but opaque. I don’t have your gorgeous legs! I tend to wear dresses over pants. A tip of yours as well!!! Great tips hugs xoxo

Big thumbs up for low waist jeans!! I have a short torso and the high waist jeans made me look like I have no waist at all. I love low waist and mid waist denim. It's all about your body type and proportion.

Low rise jeans - NO! Kelly green - yes. Balloon/parachute pants - nope. Western boots - not sure as I prefer biker boots. Geometric prints - don't think so. Still prefer opaque tights to sheer when I wear them at all.

Here in Houston, Western boots are a year-round fashion staple. They are a classic which will never go away!

I am a fan of the sheer/patterned tights. Gives you an option instead of pants and can elevate an outfit.

and as a color lover I love the Pucci prints coming back, Easy way to style an outfit quickly, especially if you’re not organized enough to put things together.

I'll leave the low rise to the teens. I was there for round one and they made me so self conscious. Kelly green doesn't look great on me but it's a beautiful shade.

Surprisingly I still have a few of my low rise classic boot and flare jeans that are at least 10 years old and I just love them 💗 I’ve kept them in excellent condition you would never know…🙃 I have a short torso so these are the jeans I can get away with tucking tops in without looking completely disproportionate and swallowed up like a mid or high rise jean would do on me. 💕

I’ve been on the lookout for a vintage green silk or linen blouse or top for a while and had no idea anyone else cared about this color. It’d be nice to see a color besides blue once in a while! Blue can be great on people with brown eyes but mine are green. And I’m so here for the sheer tights!

Another great video Leonie. Before covid and the lockdown I wore fishnet stockings to work with my pencil skirts. For the last 18 months I've been using mostly pants on the days I go into the office. I will be happy to wear my skirts and tights again. Thank you for the information.

The only one I am for sure going to wear is the sheer patterned tights. In the winter, I have always been wearing an opaque black tight with skirts and dresses. Otherwise, in the Spring and Summer, it is bare legs, but I love, love stockings. I also might wear low rise jeans, but currently here in SF, everyone is wearing high waisted jeans and I love, love them.

I am all about high rise! Not sure about the low rise pants. At least they are baggy, unlike the early 2000s. I'm definitely onboard with the looser fitting jeans, but not sure I'd wear them low too!

Sheer tights are awesome. Haven't worn them in years because it gets very cold where I am so you need more coverage. But black sheer tights are the best

I am partial to a darker green, such as Forest Green. As far a parachute pants, some of you may find this strange. I was still working in the early 2000's, and purchased a pair of black parachute work pants. The reason I liked them - they don't pick up pet fur! I rescue cats mainly, so never wear black because of pet hair! But those parachute pants in black were worn so much! I really loved them! Haven't had a pair of black pants since!😻🕊
