CCO Overhead Crane Operator Candidate Video

The NCCCO Overhead Crane Operator Practical Examination demonstrating crane operator proficiency is available in either of the following Overhead Crane types:

- Cab Operated
- Pendant/Remote Control

The Practical Exam tasks are:

- Task: Pre-Operational (Shift) Inspection
- Task 1: True Vertical Lift
- Task 2: Place Load in Circle #1
- Task 3: Negotiate Right Angle Corridor with Obstructions
- Task 4: Trolley Laydown
- Task 5: Safe Securing Procedures

A candidate must pass both the Written and Practical examinations to be certified for a five-year period.
