there are 2 types of "Individual", one being positive and one being negative, #1, Egovidualism: service to self, me me me, Athiest, reductionist, Existentialist.etc #2, Individuation; the inward journey of finding ones real SELF or true nature beyond the complexes of the egos and personas, when you find the SELF it connect to all, nothing is separate on the ultimate level from source, i.e. god, we are all one, therefore SELF and GOD connect to become the same word, when you know your self then you will know all..the real problem we are facing is the over identification with the ego and the projection of its shadow, stemming from humanities un-integrated trauma, addiction and lack of individuation ....in order for us to get together in healthy group/community dynamics we must first respect everyone as individuals.. and the qualities of individuated people, are humility, sharing, compassion, no leaders, every one is a part of the whole, no hierarchies..etc., check out Carl Jung and or Paul levy, they do not discount Christianity as being part of, they don't throw out the baby with the bath water it all jives and accommodates!
