You requested it, and so here it is: a video breaking down what went into creating my Avenger's main theme mockup, using just "Nucleus" from Audio Imperia. I hope you find it valuable/insightful!

Nucleus is pretty good for having:
Separate sections
Full Sections
Mix of sections
Solo instruments
Good Percussion
Good Quality
And is only 450 dollars for all of that. That is insane and good.

Love the clarity in mix. Those brass sounds are especially rich. 👍

The attention to realism and depth in this mockup is just silly. Keep up the awesome work Tom!

Will be watching this one a few times, thanks so much for sharing your most excellent mockup! Being fairly new to orchestral composition with sample libraries, I'm curious, do you configure Kontakt tracks for multiple instruments in single-output (omni) or multi-output by MIDI channel, or perhaps a hybrid approach?

Hey Tom Great work I will defiantly subscribe, I would like to know do you modify the latency in nucleus to keep the music in time when you quantize. And what is the typical quantize settings for orchestral music 1/8 sorry for basic questions

This sounds incredible! Did you mock it up by ear or use sheet music?

Amazing content!! Thank you so much!
At 38:05 --> You are playing Low Brass & Trmbns+Tubas+8va & Tubas + Trombones at the same time.
I think Low Brass-patch include Tubas and Bass Trombones, and Trmbns+Tubas+8va-patch include Tubas and Trombones as well.

So It looks you have 3 different Tuba- and Trombone-patches playing at the same time but the end result is very clear & thick.
Please could you clarify this a bit? :)

(I'd be very interested to see what notes/chords are you playing with these particular patches - now I am seeing all the Brass playing at the same time).

This is very interesting... I'm not sure I understand, yet. Did you reproduce "mockup" the original sound track on Nucleus?

Loved it, awsome work! Do you think you could have made it this good, or similiar if you used the Nucleus Lite version instead?

Very cool! How did you decide to use Seventh Heaven and VSS3 instead of reverbs from Vahalla or some other ones out there?

Really convincing mockup, great job! :) Quick question: do you use all your reverb 100% wet (I think I saw it on seventh heaven on your strings)? I'm currently experimenting with how to place different libraries in the same room and found setting the reverb to 100% wet with different distances (Pro-R) yielded pretty good results. How do you go about this?
