Mistletoe in Trees

University of Florida Extension in Escambia County shares information about the parasitic plant mistletoe which is seen in many hardwood trees.

I saw it in the woods and noticed the dissimilar leaves from the host. I didn't know that was mistletoe. Thanks!

Acutely parasitic plant is divided into two main groups Holo-parasites &Hemi-parasites, Mistletoes belongs to hemiparatic plant which party depends on the host tree, whereas holoparsitc plants like dodor may entirely depend on the host trees
