I work for the state department and was in Lebanon last month at the U.S. Embassy. Theres such a wide range of factions there and such a divide in religious beliefs. The people are incredibly kind and it’s horrible to see them caught in the middle of these conflicts.

I live in south lebanon but not in shiea villages, I am a durzi so we don't get bombed. And as I watch this video I hear around five strikes on a nearby village, and before that I heard 6 large rockets being fired from approximately the same spot. The people who think that isreal can be defeated is delusional they have such advanced technologies that no body can make significant moves becuase they will know of it directly.

If they hit the British military bases, the UK already has one of the finest militaries on earth, in addition to being a member of NATO.

The rest of the island is an EU member state, and the EU is also technically a defense pact.
