How to upgrade your H930DS in the UK to OREO 8.0

I purchased this V30+ online from eBay and I knew it was coming from South Korea/Hong Kong area.

However, I wanted the dual SIM model and the extra memory and the UK version in the shops at Carphone Warehouse was half the storage and didn't have the black version neither and less than its counterpart!... This one I got H930DS is truly a great phone device and it also has fast wireless charging - overall it's AMAZING Phone!!!

The only thing that bothered me was the slow progress and lack of communication from LG to get this updated to 8.0 or 8.1 OREO...and I knew they updated in the earlier part of the year 2018 in ASIA the same device!

Well after waiting a while longer than I care to say...I decided to go online on xda forums and other sites (see below) and grab a reputable source of KDZ file around 3GB and attempt the upgrade myself with LGUP as LG would probably not send the OTA in the UK anytime soon!

I am Soooo glad I did it....sorry for the quality of the video that you see.... it's not great but if you are like me in that you need to update to 8.0 in the UK and not sure how to do it and if indeed can do it....you will find it helpful I hope!

Especially as you will see it updates perfectly without losing any features only gaining new functionality. WOW!

Hey have you had any new updates to the LG V30 that improves the overall range/contrast/exposure of both of it's cameras especially the selfie camera as I'm worried that 5MP ain't gonna cut it for selfies. And is there a swipe up to reveal the app drawer function similar to Samsung and Pixel devices?

I hate the LG! I have the LG G4 also for Hong Kong, updated to 7.0 by LGUP but Android Pay is not working there! And LG has not provided unlocking the bootloader fot H815 model! The last one is crazy at all! So I can't fix the Android Pay!
