The 212 sounds so good. I like the warmer and more intimate sound. I love ribbon mics in general but in this case I liked the 212 with the tube mics. My 2nd favorite mic setup for the 212 was actually the surround. Such a beautiful sounding instrument! P.S. Great playing and humor. Also, great taste with the Empire Strikes Back poster. I have that movie soundtrack on vinyl LP and it is divine!

Thank you for this video. The new piano sounds great! Regarding the timbre shift option, there's something I don't understand. I feel the sound changes a lot with this feature, and it could let me get the piano sound to be brighter or rounder depending on the type of sound I need. Is this correct? If yes, I don't understand why it's also changing the keyboard range. If I shift it up, is seems I'm losing keys at the bottom of the keyboard. There must be a logical reason to it that I fail to understand. Could you explain it to me?
