I had my first mma training when i was 7 years old fooling around in my room than comes my older brother and i had to fight for life, hard floor, no tapping, and no mom around, that was hard lesson. Peace, stay healthly :D

I found this very helpful Phil, not just for starting off in MMA but these concepts like staying consistent and asking questions are important in general. Keep up the great work!

I truly believe everyone should have at least a year of fundamental wrestling and striking before they start MMA otherwise it's too difficult

Good advice...and you can't do this if you really don't have the mentality and you have to see fighting as a life style. 💯💪 Phil

Hi Phil, first and foremost, thanks for the videos!

I have a question though, I'm a beginner in MMA. I'm not willing to be a pro MMA fighter but I still want to improve and perform at my best. While working a full-time job, how can I mix the fitness part with all the different classes (BJJ, Striking and MMA) without leaving aside my family? What planning do you recommend to follow? I can give it 3 to 4 trainings max per week.

Once again, thanks a lot for your videos!

I started kickboxing years ago but I'm very stiff and quite clumsy with my movement so I stopped, MMA is surely a thing I would like to get into again
