Creating a Layer File in ArcGIS Pro

Map and layer files, while representing yet another format, do provide some significant advantages that you need to be aware of and are generally easy to use. By the end of this tutorial, you will have a much better understanding of what these file types are and how you can use them effectively.

Helpful video - not sure why you didn't just create a Layers folder rather than drop your lyrx files in the databases folder; that's just not intuitive.
