Lmao this comment section is ridiculous. I get that performance art is not for everyone, it's not exactly my go-to style as a performer either, but I feel that observing all kinds of performance art and engaging in those techniques gives you new insight into the bare essentials of humanity and the world around you. Make it your playground and the space that's yours. Her work is incredible and I think most of the people here that are writing it off are more just scared to embrace something that's new to them. Don't knock it til you try it. But I think it's also extremely rude to just belittle her and see her as less than you for being different. That's what divides this world and keeps it filled with the hate that still plagues us all over. Marina has a very important world perspective to offer and even if it's not for you, I definitely encourage all to at least look into it and give it a try. It might really change how you look at performance forever.
