Heidegger's Hut, Todtnau, Germany

Located on one of the highest points in Schwarzwald, the famous cabin of philosopher Martin Heidegger is where he wrote much of his later works, including his most famous - Being and Time. The surrounding region offers spectacular views, a host of winter sports and is steeped in a rich traditional culture.
