Seems like Hennessey has some massive plans for the upcoming 2020 corvette c8, the car they've displayed on their site looks incredible but I'm sure it'll come with an even more incredible price tag!

I am going to call it now. Katech is the only tuner i would trust because they actually supply products for racing. I would wait before handing money to anyone that dosent actually have the car. I would choose a Katech racing package over anyone else at this point in the aftermarket.

As a huge Vette fan boy that'll never be able to afford one, I didnt like the C8 much but I gotta say, it has really really grown on me, the same as when they did away with the round tail lights. I hated the new tail lights and now I dont care much for the round ones. The C7 ZR1 will always be my favorite, aside from the L88, but in a couple yrs, my opinion will probably be much different. Chevy really made great progress with the C8 and I'm excited to see what the ZO6 and the ZR1 will be.

The C8 needs 840whp (for 1540kg) to get the same power to weight ratio than a Mclaren 720s (700whp, 1283kg).
The C8 must produce a crank power of 943HP in order to reach it (calculated on a 11% drive train loss).

They’ll crack the ECU when GM cracks it for them.

Holy Crap!!! If the Hennessy upgrade even comes close to looking like that with 1, 200 horsepower, suspension and brake upgrades....Wow-weee!! There are going to be alot of 720s, Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren, and Pagani owners at track days having absolute fits because they are getting stomped at the track by a super car after mods of half to 5x less expensive.

A non active wing is giving away a lot of performance.

On the ECUs of those that have been cracked it was taking >1yr and that was the much lower encryption versions. So While I think someone will probably bypass it it might be a very long time indeed.

At 5:09 - 5:15 when Go Pro makes the carbon splitter look more stable than the factory bumper lol

“I’m sure it’s not gonna be cheap” is an understatement. Considering the exorcist is a 50k package and doesn’t include a new motor and new brakes among other other things. Gonna be a 100k package.

Why not just wait for the C8 Z06 ? Won't be 1, 200 HP but probably going to be more power than you can put to the street anyway.

The new Corvette it's a beauty. Nothing negative to say about it. But I'm an old-school guy. And I love old school Corvettes stingrays. Truth if I ever got my hand on one of these new Corvettes your looking at in this video. I sell it.... then buy a few more 69 70 71 or 72 Corvettes. Love those To this day when done up right they are truly BADASS.... Just like the one sitting in my garage

N/A power increase only for The C8 Z06 To keep it reliable still, no issues. Or up Grade to ZR1 but never again to do big after market Turbo/ Superchargers. Cost Rollacoaster. These vettes will be fast enough any way. Small upgrades is all they will really need for 80%Street driving

It's missing the elevated side skirts that curve up at the back. That would make it look even better. And maybe some fender wheel vents.

Great time to be a American god bless Chevrolet and god bless the C8 corvette

The transmission is the only thing they won't need to touch. General motors already anticipated hp upgrades, it's the reason why the transmission weighs so much. Its already fortified to handle gobs of hp and torque
