SESSION: CRUISING THROUGH LIGHT WIND CONDITIONS

Times when you needed oversized gear to sail, let alone have fun, in light wind conditions are clearly over!

Equipped with a 4.5m2 Droid UPE Aramid X and a Cruzader Point FSP Pro 6’0, GONG boss and shaper cruises from one maneuver to the next. These are the conditions where the magic of wing foiling operates in full force! It’s super light yet you can pick up speed, jump and surf. All within an ultra-small sailing space. Without fear of coming off foil thanks to the Cruzader's phenomenal ability to free you from water. So yes, undersizing the equipment in light conditions requires a bit of technique, but the good news is that there’s usually no shortage of conditions like these for training

That's the way to go, double the speed of the wind!! whats your weight? obviously there's some serious skills👏 this is the kind of wind we have all the time so whats your recommendation for a 90kg rider with little less skills but very keen to get there? bigger foil? or bigger wing? or another wing? what about the Sirus? what stab are you using? Thx

les ours avec la fonte des glaces n'ont plus rien a manger, cela se voit !! mais attention plus agressifs sur l'eau !

Ce sont des sessions que j’adore.
Petite houle, trop d’eau, solo, chaud en short, at home.

Les sensations de glisse sont magiques.
Il faut dire que c’est un enchainement constant pendant 45minutes à 1h30 selon les jours.
Tourner, virer, pomper, etc etc etc
J’aime bien l’idee de tout repeter dans des conditions calmes puis d’utiliser ces acquis les jours musclés.

Ce matos est evidemment la clef. En board de freestyle je n’aurais jamais volé.

J’ai un foil fin et rapide, orienté DW. Un stab minuscule (37 maigre) et le HM86.

La Cruzader Point 6’0 me va bien. Elle coule juste ce qu’il faut au pomping. Plus et je perdrais. Donc ce volume est optimum.
Je pourrais me simplifier la vie en 6’6 mais ca me plait comme ca.
