Aerial footage shows aftermath of Cuba's oil depot fire, the biggest in island's history

Показать описание
Aerial footage showed on Wednesday (August 10) the aftermath of what officials described as the worst fire in Cuba’s history affecting the island’s main fuel storage facility for six days.
After an inspection flight over the Matanza’s industrial park, where flames ravaged a four-tank segment of the supertanker port, an unidentified pilot said flames on the first tank were mostly put out.
Now, efforts will be focused on getting under control of the fire affecting the second tank as long as towering plumes of smoke streaming from the area diminish.
Officials said the fire destroyed 40% of Cuba’s oil depot and caused massive blackouts.
