OSRS The Corsair Curse - F2P Quest Guide (OSRS Ironman Friendly)

This video is an OSRS Guide, for the Corsair Curse OSRS F2P Quest.

The guide is Ironman friendly, but any type of account can follow this guide. This is a must play quest for any serious OSRS F2P account, as farming the ogresses at Corsair Cove is the only way for F2P Ironmen to get a Rune Full Helm!

The quest is started by speaking to Captain Tock who can be found to the north of Port Sarim. His crew has been struck down by a mysterious curse and he would like help in trying to find the cause. Each of his crew Gnocci the cook, Arsen the Thief, Colin the Cabin Boy and Ithoi the Navigator must be questioned in turn. After dispelling the crews various theories as to the cause, it seems that one of them Ithoi the navigator may have simply given the rest of the crew food poisoning. Once you confront him and get proof Captain Tock asks you to deal with the traitor!

QUEST REQUIRMENTS 🔒:
The ability to defeat a level 35 mage, so bring magic defence and food, I recommend at least being combat level 40. There are also some level 82 ogres present but they aren't in the quest area.

QUEST ITEMS 🧳:
A Spade & a Tinderbox, (though both can be found on Corsair Cove)
*Optional: Energy/Stamina Potions.

QUEST REWARDS 💰:
2 Quest Points.

I think you forgot the part where you have to speak with the cook again.
I watched the video and had to google a bit before learning this. You cannot dig the lumb before the cutscene with the cook

Even though it’s not much, they did a lot for free to play since I’ve stopped playing. I’ve been back for a week now and this nostalgia is incredible with a few more things to be able to do in free to play. It’s really fun. I want to do this, but I’m trying to get my range upfirst because I believe I will probably need 60 to 65-ish to be able to take down those ogres as well

Well this quest is now behind a member pay wall... when u get to the sand pile its gives member prompts, and wont allow u to continue. Looked into it cant find mush info. I hope I'm not mistaken or.. i kinda hope I am mistake cause that's dirty af jagex :(

On the mobile people might face an issue where the hut is invisible its because of rendering issues and the hitbox being literally small you have to tap on the lower half of the stairs randomly for the option to show up

I see that F2P players can wear dragon stone armor and the armor is visible in the grand exchange. So can you show how free to play players make dragon stone armor? Is there a way or it’s like the green dragon hide armor and it’s not possible?
