I’m a handball player and here’s a tip: To get rid of the sticky substance, rub baby oil on the places where the substance is, after 5 mins of rubbing, wash it thoroughly at the sink, it should get rid of at least 90% of the sticky stuff. Also, this seemingly disgusting stuff is actually crucial in a handball match because it enhances your grip on the ball and let’s you shoot with 2 times the power and less chances of the ball falling off while trying to shoot. And yes it might peel off your skin, but once your hands get used to it, your skin will basically be immune to it. I hope this helps😊

When you first start using resin in handball (at around 15), you get blisters all the time, especially on the tips of your fingers, and then it hurts so bad to throw the ball

That Substanz is called Harz . We handball players use it to get a better grip on the ball, because aure hands get pretty sweaty . It is soo sticky but you can use nevea cream to get it of . Youre Hands hurt a bit when youre new to it but you get used to it.
