Janine reminds me of someone that I loved so, so much... It's so painful to watch her playing and singing but at the same time, it brings nostalgia and that part of love that is almost pain, even in its brightest moments. I don't know if everybody will understand what I'm talking about, but I think love has this particularity of being something sublime that comes from a process of disemboweling our soul. When I look at Janine, I feel a piece of that. I want to scream and cry, but I can't stop because it makes me feel alive for a brief moment. It is the scariest and, yet, the most extraordinary power in human existence. Love is a shit show (although it's not supposed to be) - but life without it it's even shittier.
