So the best way to beat this level with unpaid heroes is to actually build all your towers in the back first. That yellow eye spits out the purple stuff on the ground in the front that makes the enemies invulnerable when they walk across it. So it is pointless setting up any towers there. When you fight the boss, then I would suggest building up front. My setup was basically 5 Batista towers all the way towards the back and then 3 laser mage towers up near along the edge of the island. And not problem.

I dont know why people don't use tritower. I put tritower in that middle spot near the castle and block the path with barracks before the glare. I just max the multi rocket skill and no one can pass through.

You can move the reinforcements around you know. They're not just limited to the spot that you summoned they're in.

I like the whole campaign overall, however I didn't quite enjoy that you have to disrupt the old fashion "place the towers at the back" KR play style. I know there are certain stages in the previous games like these but they almost always exclusive to dlc maps. Leaving the back side heavily unguarded always makes me feel insecure

I want to ask something, when buying the game at steam, are the premium heroes and towers still unlockable instead of purchasing them just like the previous kingdom rush games on steam?
