Imagine us going through inequality, abuse, being forced to stay at home to take care of kids, not allowed to vote until recently, highest rape and abuse statistics (not saying men dont go through that), sexualised, forced to marry (still in some cultures), get called sexist slurs, go through periods every month for most of our lives, dealing with pregnancy, giving birth, made to look a certain way, act a certain way, BE a certain way in order to be considered "beautiful" and so much more and we FINALLY get an era for equality and acceptance and get a SONG just to find boys (NOT MEN) bashing the song because its about empowering women.
