I just learned this recently, but lobsters and other crustaceans don’t have a cerebral cortex or brain. At most, they have a nervous system/pain sensations similar to insects. No one really knows for sure if lobsters feel “pain”, but I’m just baffled that they don’t really have a brain LMAO.

We were taught to place the lobster in the freezer and put them in a state of hibernation and then immediately put into boiling water. I was shocked that the live lobster was completely docile. I will continue to do what I was taught by my mother and freeze first.
