Thank you for letting me know about this game, I’ll definitely get it, I’ve been looking for a challenge after just playing bloodborne lately. :)

Working on the last part and had to take a break because it was ridiculous. I agree with your 2 main bad points. It's almost impossible to get away from attacks as they glid towards you. So you either have to block or dodge. Bosses deplete your shield so quickly and better not dodge a second to soon because you get sucked back into the attack. 100% agree with the input buffer too. So many times I yell that I used my "mana" attacks and they never registered. Good to know I'm not the only one. Still a pretty game and decently fun to play. But the difficulty is not a good hard difficulty it's just bad mechanics.

I played at normal difficulty, and the combat was fun.
Yeah it needs good timing for dodging / attacking which is good, we cant just spamming attack button

This game is way too easy they should have the hardest difficulty setting available from the start tbh kinda lame how I have to play it twice

I suck at combat therefore everyone who likes the game is smoking crack? What an obnoxious take!! Maybe play on easy if you have a hard time with combat. You can play the whole game without getting hit even once if you dodge out of the way or parry quickly.
