i’ve been using this sling for months and it’d become my most used sling just over the bellroy venture 2.5. it’s tiny but i can fit everything i put in my 2.5L minus my phone. it’s small but it’s mighty

I love this sling and use it any time I travel. A passport just squeezes into the internal zipper compartment, which I think is plenty of security for carrying it plus any cash. It fits a Kindle easily, which is a plus for me. If/when Aer makes a version 3, I’d like to see it a tiny bit taller with a hidden pocket to fit a passport easily.

moment 1L sling would be a nice alternative?

Bought this per your recommendation on Instagram a while back. Haven’t bought another sling since I freaking love this thing.

Like always top notch video thank you. This sling is just a little too small for me.

I have this. Great pocket reliever. I really like the crinkle cordura material and the thin strap - feels completely unobtrusive and just kind of melts away while wearing it - unlike with other slings with wider straps that I feel like I'm constantly fighting and readjusting. My favorite use has been as a "hideaway" secondary personal item on a flight as it fits and conceals under a jacket nicely, especially when gate agents are cracking down on what can be construed as doubling up on personal items.
Tomtoc aviator is an excellent alternative (which I have as well).

Hey Aaron, need your advice.
I am looking at Aer Tech Sling 3 but I am bit hesistant to buy assuming Version 4 may be released soon.
I dont know do they release new version every year (spring?)
I tried to check their homepage but could not get any useful info.
If a new version is around the corner, I would like to wait for YOUR take on it and then decide.
Can you please throw light on it? It would be very helpful. Thanks!

I was deciding between Aer Go Sling 2 and Bellroy Lite Belt Bag, and I went with Bellroy Lite Belt bag simply because there's a rear zip pocket with it. Was considering Venture Ready 2.5 as well but found it being too big and fabric's too stiff for my preference. Just realised that you hadn't reviewed the Bellroy Lite Belt bag on your channel... is it in the queue to be reviewed at some point? :D

Tomtoc over Aer for me. Comparable in so many ways and much cheaper.

In truth…Aer disappointed me. I bought the aer sling 3…and I have a Tomtoc (tomtoc 13 inch Laptop Messenger Shoulder Bag for 12.9 inch iPad Pro) and alpaka go-sling. Aer did not fit the “same content”. I totally shocked that ALpaka go sling fit all my edc and was “looking” smaller then Aer sling 3. I end up giving away my Aer sling…and somehow I am not “buying it”. There are bellroy to still try and paKt.

Even thought the word is spelled "patina", it's pronounced as "pat-teen-na", not "pat-tin-na".

Man, the fabric look so dirty and whack to me. I prefer their shiny coating
