Bo-Katan is just such a bad a**. That's my main take away from this episode, and also Grogu seems to be communicating a bit more, which is cool. Soon as he starts being able to say full sentences, he's gonna talk Din's ear off lol

Another episode where we reach the end and are desperate for the story to continue. That reveal raises so many questions, not just for this show, but also for the history of Mandalore.

I was surprised he got to the Mines this early in the season, but as you say this now opens things up for the remaining episodes. I hope we at least see a little of Thrawn before the end, but I won't be surprised if it's just another tease. Perhaps with a little Ahsoka thrown in to create a bridge to her upcoming season later this year (apparently 'late Summer' per Variety).

The big droid look similar to the Mandalorian war droids from some Legends stuff. I think the design team took into consideration what the droids on Mandalore would look like ascetically based off of the Legends material.

I loved seeing Grogu put his training from Luke to fight off some of Mandalore's monsters and get Bo Katan

It seems to be forgotten WHY Mando has trouble with the Dark Saber.. He is in a bad place internally. Sabine couldn't immediately just use it.. She was taught how to work with the blade.

Even Moff Gideon could use it as he clearly knows who he is and what he wants. There's no way Din isn't a changed person after this episode.

ALL HAIL BO-KATAN, THE TRUE QUEEN OF MANDALORE!!!!

Honestly she has both earned and *deserves* the Darksaber. Besides Moff Gideon she is the only character (in live action so far) that can wield that blade effortlessly. And she has respect for the creed while also seeing that the creed needs to be updated or even renewed. Also while Din Djarin is absolutely faithful to the creed he does not want to be its leader, which is why the creed needs to change so that when he gives her the Darksaber every Mandalorian in the galaxy will recognize her are the true ruler of their people.

Also I never thought I would actually get to see the Mythosaur in Star Wars, now I can see why the Mandalorians made its skull their sigil.

Favreau has corrected his misunderstood time reference of how long time has passed for Grogu and Luke.

She "won" the Darksaber from the creature running the droids - and she doesn't seem to care. At all. Perhaps part of her journey is her to need to rule for her people, not herself or only for her glory. To deserve to rule by her deeds, not her blood. To be "redeemed". And she has, after all, just bathed in the Living Waters... Bo Katan, wielding the Darksaber, riding a Mythosaur?
