08.24.2018 U.S. Army in Europe: Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport vessel USNS Carson City (T-EPF-7) made a historic first journey; being the first ship of its class to be utilized in the European Theater. Carson City sailed to Constanta, Romania to offload troops, vehicles, and equipment from 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division.
