Another excellent piece. I like that the OG Penny Loafers are in. Just yesterday, I wore my vintage Hanover brand cordovan tassel loafers, with eggs shell white jeans, a RL canvas blue belt, a light grey sweatshirt I picked up at Uniqlo, pulled over a 15 year old Navy blue Lacoste polo shirt. I looked great! Which is hard for me to admit because I’m supremely humble 😉

Boucle ( boo clay) is how we refer to piling on clothes in some parts of Scotland ‘aw naw it’s aw boucle’. Like some general French words used in some parts describing curly bits on fabrics . Used in that way before it became a highjacked popular term for specific fabrics from the likes of Chanel in the mid 20th century 😊

You mentioned the Uniqlo trench coat, but your video showed a female model wearing it, and the Uniqlo UK stores, and website, have trench coats only in the women’s section, seemingly marketed to women alone …

My question is: Do you know whether the cut of the Uniqlo trench coat you featured in your video might perhaps be unisex?

I wonder if I (a regular bloke) can get away with wearing the Uniqlo women’s trench coat, without it being blatantly obvious that it’s a piece of clothing specifically designed for women?

Own a pair of Tod's suede chukkas my wife got second hand for cheap. I've only worn them a couple times and they were basically new when received, but they are so nice. Already on the look out for the loafers.
