In today's video we will start a brand new large painting! The start of this painting will be epic. It will be a lose, bold, energetic, yet simple start to the painting.

The materials used in this video are listed below,

Oil Paints:

Winsor & Newton- Titanium White
Winsor & Newton- Burnt Umber

Oderless mineral spirits
Medium: Neo Megilp Medium

Canvas: 36x48" Cotton Canvas toned with oil paint several weeks prior to filming.

Brushes Used:
Master's Touch Bristles (variety of sizes)
4 inch Large Bristle Brush (brand unknown... I think it is a gesso brush?)
Master's Touch Fan brush

I am fascinated by this approach, Yupari! Such freedom! Wonder why I would be afraid of this type of freedom in painting.🤪 I appreciate the different approaches to oil painting you have revealed and the wonderful results! That's why I always draw with burnt umber. I hate charcoal.
