My go-to Cuban is la Pola in Union City, but I'm always willing to try a new spot

NJ has some of the most diverse towns and cities in the nation. All those enclaves and "ethnoburbs." It's that overflow from NYC and Philly!

The best Cuban food in NYC is Margon near Times Square. I’m saying that as a Cuban who grew up eating Cuban food. My father and his side of the family are Cuban immigrants, so I was eating the real deal and not Americanized food. Imma have to check out this place. Weird how West New York is the name of a town in Jersey 😂
