ANSA and META, the pre- and post- processors of BETA CAE Systems, offer a wide range of tools for handling ATDs, seats, and seat-belts models, as well as tools for the automatic setup of different load-cases, DOE studies and the evaluation of the respective results.

In this presentation seminar, BETA engineers will explain how a DOE study can be set up in the Optimization tool of ANSA, how different parameters can be set, such as the friction between the ATD and the seat-belt, the actual position of the slipring and different contact points of the seat-belt on the dummy thorax, and how these parameters can affect the occupant's injury results.
