The average homeloan payments is above any average wage. So what do they do because rents are just as much. Typical rent round my area is between $460 & $750. Most low income earners bring home $900 if that!

I'm paying higher rent every week, Albo! I can't wait till your project is done. Your idea isn't work to me right now. I have to cut down nutritional food to cover the increased rent. I can't move anywhere either! Where the money goes? The landlord owns this unit outright and they just simply say we increased to the market rental price. I hate labour over increased rent now. I never thought I have eyes for the greens over abolish negative gearing for investor policy but I will have to vote greens for their realistic housing policy. They seemed to help a renter like me to be able to breath over the water line.

Yeah, because labour's policy wouldn't do much in the long term, and doesn't realistically tackle the core issue with housing. That is, the current policy/legislative measures make housing seen as investment.

All Labour's policy does is kick the proverbial can down the road.
