Little Inventors Inventions for Space challenge in Canada with NSERC and CSA
Показать описание
The Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and the Canadian Space Agency collaborated with Little Inventors to launch Inventions for space challenge from November 2017 to May 2018. We invited children all across Canada to think up and draw inventions ideas to improve the lives of astronauts in space - with Mars as the next frontier, journeys will only get longer and they will need all the comforts they can get! The results were incredible: 3000 invention ideas submitted and over 80,000 young people involved. 30 inventions were brought to life by professional makers, designers and artists, from miniaturists to 3D artists to glassblowers. Two inventions won the top prize and a chance to talk to Canadian David Saint-Jacques from the International Space Station. As journeys go, this one was truly out of this world.....
