Acura NSX Review: Pricing, Specs, Interior and More!

The idea of a new Acura NSX was extremely appealing, but when the second generation arrived at our test track in 2017, we expected a little bit more than what it delivered. Since that test, Acura has improved many parts in the car and made suspension changes and recalibrated the drivetrain. How do these changes improve the driving experience? That's what Kurt Niebuhr finds out in this video.

Is that temperature rear trunk test standard for all other midengine competitions? Or is it just the Acura getting single out ?

Wow.. more complaints and more nitpicking .. half the video is al abut infotainment and space

Sad that infotainment, ac control, cup holder, mode selector, door pockets, trunk heat in a midengine, bring down the score so much in a super car.

Two comments: 1) the only difference that I have read between the 2019 NSX and the 2020 NSX is the new yellow color; and 2) the 2019-2020 NSX are one of the few cars you could buy bone stock and be OK (other than ceramic brakes, everything other option is cosmetic). How many cars can make that claim? Certainly not Porsche!

Those who can, do. Those who can't, review, for Edmunds!

Having owned a 2017 NSX I can honestly say the car was amazing however I wasn't a fan of the interior either. I sometimes wish I still had it.

One more thing... many have improved on Honda/ duel screen, and if you are truly enjoying your sports or super Cars, the things you complain about are irrelevant! Wait! There's more... NSX is only car in GT3 racing with no mods, exactly same as road NSX. For real review I watched Chris Harris who has probably driven every car for last 15 yrs.

Most people who have the means for a 150K - 200k sports car would not consider a 70K C8. There are plenty of trade-offs for vehicles at a much lower price point.

My I was fuming until u redeem yourself at the end...As a current owner of 2018 Porsche911 and 2018 NSX I must tell u that what u call annoyances ( cup holder/ sport mode selector) I see as endearing. I do not mind the attachment for the cup holder, even my passengers think its interesting...The knob selector is substantial size wise compared to the 911 but it is so much fun to use... I agree with u that its tiny and no space for a jacket or small items but what a small price to pay for a thrilling/ lightning fast, somewhat rare and exclusive automobile....I initially gave u a thumb down but at the end I switched it to a thumb up... Value wise, this car blows cars twice as expensive away... Ferrari 488 costs twice as much but I do not think u get twice the value of an NSX.... I could honestly say I see 10 times more 488`s on the road than cannot wait until they come out with the type R.

where does the NSX fit in a $60k C8 0to60 2.7s world?

I agree with your complaints. This is a Honda/Acura product! The previous NSX was a better car. I own an 18 Civic SI. We love the pockets and storage it provides as well as the way it drives. It is sublime. We wouldn't have purchased it, if Honda brought it to market with less innovation. I've thought about owning one of these but there are so many sports cars that offer a great driving experience with more innovation. I'm not going to mention the elephant in the room just introduced by Chevrolet. Thank you.

oh and just conveniently not mention that this nsx will outlive the bmw i8 and audi r8 in terms of reliability. Honda is never about being flashy. It may be supercar but its more akin to its heritage and roots of reliability, sturdiness and that overbuilt engine. so suck on it bald guy

why are so many people butt-hurt about what Edmunds complain about the NSX? As much as I LOVE the NSX, their complaints are valid. Sure, a supercar is for speed, but the modern look isn't only the outside but also the inside, and for the asking price, that Infotainment system isn't it. If you think that infotainment system is unacceptable: ask yourself if something like that is acceptable in the AMG GT R or the Huracan. Also, practicality is the new trend, y'all. More storage space helps, and none is unacceptable in a $200k car.

So, you floor the car in a straight line, and then say that Acura really got it right now, after all your criticism has been centered around handling? There's one big knob in the car all right, but Acura didn't put it

Acura really should have offered this car with a manual trans. It would have made the car stand out in the supercar world. And it's simply amazing how much Acura and Lexus are struggling to make good infotainment systems.

This man is complaining about the tires that come on the car, ...good grief...you can put any tires you want on the car. Me personally after my stock tires wear out, I'm always going to go with a Michelin Pilot sport Plus of some kind

You are being entirely too focused (3/4 of the video, in fact) on the 2017 NSX.
