I think these types of games don't need to launch every year. Fifa and NBA 2k can have their yearly launch because they have the online stuff, teams and mycareer stuff going on, although many people also complain about it, at least they have a reason and they still making a lot (!) of money.
Now, this MotoGP, Supercross, Motocross, WRC, etc... there's absolutely no need for a new game every year. You can create DLCs and then after 3 years make a new game with new stuff, better mechanics, etc. At this point, this looks like they're running a scam.
Just do it like Gran Turismo.
