As a support main myself all I have to say is:

Support = Parent (Parent gives everything but sometimes needs some of their own stuff)

ADC = Child (Wants everything but gets very mad when not given everything)

I’m an ADC main, as long as I’m not fighting some mage ‘support’ for CS the whole game I don’t care. I just don’t want to have my teammates force me to fight for every cs.

The entire point of the support role is to funnel resources to the carry. Support champions are designed to function on low income. Your items are cheaper, very gold efficient and the kits of support champions usually have high base stats with poor scaling. So they function well without items. An ADC on the other hand typically has bad base damage in their kit but scales well with items and gold. ADC items are also typically much more expensive. ADC mythic and infinity edge is like 7k gold. A support mythic and another support item is like 5.2k gold.

Such a good question lol. I don't main adc but from my experience I thought get as much gold on the adc as possible. Now if they don't walk over to it then their loss. Open to reason here.

Lmao I main support in several games and I don’t your attitude. You’re support. Your champion you’re playing literally doesn’t need gold to operate, and ADC needs gold to come online. It’s not a big deal cuz it’s 25 gold but if you’re support, let your adc get the gold. If you want gold then play mid.

Adc gets the gold. As a support you should focus on completing support items quest and assisting kills for gold. Your whole job is to be gold efficient. AD item spikes are so much bigger.

25 gold seems small but little gold adds up over time. Obviously the dude should flash and throw. But that’s his ward

Hell no. Adc gets the gold. Always. The only reason he doesn't normally is because he loses minions. He's not losing minions here.

Be a real support and get your carry fed

Depends on the champion. If its velkoz/brand/zyra then they take wards + some kills.
If its nami on the other hand, you shouldn't get anything.

Adc and support player here.

As an ADC, i get kills, minions and some turret playing

As a Support, i get wards, assist, supp item gold.

Some of you are so fragile when it comes to gold. Like bffr an adc shouldnt waste a 4 minute cool down for 25 gold like damn

I think this Varus just fkn sucks. He already gets to farm minions and potentially kill the enemies (depending on how the lane goes). Giving the ward gold to a Nami great here, since she making sure his dumbass doesnt get oneshot by healing him and drowning the enemy. Feel free to debate me, it's just what I think
