The Dixie Truck stop was known far and wide back in the old Route 66 two lane days always packed.The big outfits where PIE/CF/Navajo & Ringsby them truckers where your guardian angles on the road always there to help. FYI love the intro music

Just east of where you were standing in McLean there was a Standard Oil gas station I believe it was. It was across Rt 136 from the old Dixie building. I remember when the Dixie burned. The train station at Atlanta was larger as I recall. Back in the day both McLean and Atlanta had grocery stores, movie theater, doctor offices, etc. I miss the fall festivals both towns had in Sept.

nice old place to visit, weather is so cool, i dont like to visit museums by nature except if it does have belonging things of a celebrity or cultural, traditional things .
but over all this trip aint let u feel bored .
