What is it like to hike the Kungsleden trail in September?

In September 2021 I traveled to the very north of Sweden, the Arctic Circle, to solo hike the famous Kungsleden trail. I had 10 days to hike from Kvikkjokk to Abisko. So how was it? Let's find out, walk with me the Kungsleden trail.

To avoid the dreary 30 kmish roadwalk (or expensive bus) btw Vakkotavare and Kebnats/Saltoloukta consider going over Ritsem and take the Padjelanta trail to Kvikkjokk. Better and more beautiful!
And if you want an even longer Swedish hike, look into the Via Suecia Trail - a genuine thruhike from the southernmost point of Sweden (Smygehuk) to Treriksröset in the North. It's more like the Te Araroa, AT, CDT and PCT.
